Pastor Cooking Paste by Lol-Tun is a ready-to-use marinade based on Achiote for preparing the Tacos al Pastor dish. Taco al Pastor translates as a shepherd-style taco. The dish comes from central Mexico. In Mexico, thin pieces of pork are put on a skewer with the pastor marinade and roasted in front of a grill like the Turkish kebab. In Mexico, the meat skewer is crowned with pieces of pineapple. The meat is cut into thin, small pieces (like strips) and mixed with the marinade for home use. The meat should be marinated with the Pastor Cooking Paste for about 2 hours. Then it is briefly fried in the pan with pineapple pieces.
